A participatory and inclusive approach

The 2002 Johannesburg Summit has adopted social development (the fight against poverty in the world) as the third dimension of sustainable development, together with the economy and the environment. Since then, several actors are working towards the implementation of the MDGs: governments, parliaments, civil society actors, international organisations and institutions, bi- and multilateral cooperation actors, foundations, several private companies, a.s.o.

That is why our approach is intended to be participatory and inclusive. This vision is guiding all our steps, from the conception of the initiative onwards. It is at the heart of each phase of the process. It takes into account the joint efforts of all development actors in favour of poverty reduction, their roles, their experiences, as well as their expertise.
