The "Centre d'Etudes Africaines et de Recherches Interculturelles",
or in English "Africa Studies and Intercultural Research
Center"is a non-profit organisation according to Belgian
law, aiming at training and research on development, gender
and intercultural relations, notably concerning the African
continent.
CEAF&RI and ACECI have signed a cooperation agreement
of which the main components can be summarised as follows:

1. |
CEAF&RI
becomes part of ACECI's network of experts. In this position,
it can perform any mandate entrusted by ACECI in accordance
with the development priorities of both institutions.

2.
|
ACECI will act
as a promotional conduit for the studies realised by
CEAF&RI on and by African women. Likewise, CEAF&RI
will serve as a conduit for the activities, study and
research results realised by ACECI in the field of international
cooperation ethics
|
|
|
3. |
As an institutional
member of ACECI, CEAF&RI will be considered as a pool
of expertise on gender and development questions and intercultural
issues, and will be able to contribute to the launching
and functioning of ACECI's international expert network
on North-South relations ethics.

| 4.
|
|
CEAF&RI
and ACECI will jointly plan activities and projects in
the framework of a joint action plan in the fields of
training, information and support to development activities
initiated by women in the South.
|
|
|
5.
|
CEAF&RI and ACECI
agree to exchange all information proper to stimulate
the institutional development and the partnership of both
organisations.
