World’s Women at the Centre of Achieving the MDGs

Invited by UNIFEM to the side event at the United Nations High-Level Plenary Meeting of the United Nations General Assembly 2010 (“MDGs Summit”) in New York, the ACECI Director has called upon participants to join the 3,500 grassroots organisations supporting the campaign to "Translate the MDGs into a model bill on poverty reduction".
