Board Secretary: Lucie SAINT-GELAIS

Our Board Secretary, Lucie Saint-Gelais (m.b.a.) is also regional coordinator for Québec of Community Foundations of Canada (CFC) and Secretary general of the network of Youth hostels in World Heritage Cities (SAJSVPM). 

Holder of a diploma in industrial chemistry and in administration, she has started her career in the health sector and in social services, followed by environment and philanthropy.

As a manager and administrator in several public, private and parapublic organisations, both at national and international levels, she knows how to adjust her management style to obtain the best possible results in the organisations she's working for.

Ms Saint-Gelais is very much engaged in her community through various organisms with a social, environmental, youth- or women-oriented mission. She has demonstrated her passion for youth through her activities with the Scientific Leasure Council, the Port-au-Saumon Ecological Center, the Azimut Training Society and the Canada Millennium Scholarship Foundation. She also chairs the regional development cooperative Quebec-Appalaches (CDR-QA) and the Youth Services Coopérative, local Western committee.

 

Guy GILBERT, administrator

Mr Gilbert is a forestry engineer graduated from Laval University, and registered at the OIFQ office since 1979.

He has accumulated a wealth of national and international forestry experience in hundreds of projects, covering a wide array of fields of expertise, from forestry inventory and management, up to the first and second transformation of wood.
