FIELD STUDIES

This axis allows to realise our mission starting from known, documented situations, and a sound knowledge of the field. Closeness and a respectful relationship with our interlocutors are essential to balanced cooperation, responsible partnership and enlightened development. We put to the fore the principles of recognition, responsibility, benevolence and beneficence.

Dialogue, observation, understanding, discovering, witnessing : our concern is to render field realities and the daily life of the people visible, and while doing so, to sensitise, train and inform better.

While stressing resources and riches, the strengths and weaknesses of North and South, field studies include:

  • internship programmes
  • prospection missions
  • ethical accompaniment
  • project monitoring and evaluation
  • surveys and information gathering
