Her Excellency Georgette KOKO, Deputy-Prime Minister, Minister of Environment, Sustainable Development and Protection of Nature - Gabon

Ph.D. in geography from Paul Valery University in Montpellier, France, Her Excellency Georgette KOKO specialised in coastline management.
Professional experiences: Environment Director; Advisor to the Minister in charge of Environment. For many years she has been focal point for Gabon in international climate negotiations. In January 2006 she has been appointed Deputy-Prime Minister, Minister of Environment, Sustainable Development and Protection of Nature

Honorable Martine BONDO, Senator, Gabon

As attache of Central Administration, Ms Martine Bondo has built a long administrative and political carreer. She was reelected Senator in the Second Legislature. Chair of the " Section Sénatoriale du Réseau des Femmes Parlementaires de l’APF". Vice-President of the Commission on external relations of the " Réseau des Femmes Ministres et Parlementaires Gabonaises" (REFEMPG).

Forestry engineer. Member of the "Ordre des ingénieurs forestiers du Québec" since 1979 (OIFQ), Mr Guy GILBERT relies on a wealth of very diverse experiences both in the national and international scene, with hundreds of projects implemented in a wide array of specialty fields, from stocktaking and forestry layout, up to the first and second transformation of wood.

Ph.D. in Philosophy (Université Catholique de Louvain) and Ph.D. Social Sciences (development cooperation, Université Libre de Bruxelles); Professor philosophy and social sciences at the "Facultés Catholiques de Kinshasa", DRC and the "Université Catholique d’Afrique Centrale" at Yaounde, Cameroon, visiting professor. Director of the "Centre d’Etudes africaines et de Recherches interculturelles" (CEAF&RI), Brussels, Belgium. Several publications on philosophy, gender, education and development, of which "Enjeux de l’éducation de la femme en Afrique. Cas des femmes Congolaises du Kasaï", Paris, L’Harmattan, 2005.
